9. Internal Social Publishing (Klytron Broadcaster)
Klytron Broadcaster is our private, internal social media scheduling application (built on the open-source Postiz platform). It is not a public service and is not available to visitors of klytron.com. We use it only to publish content to our own social accounts, including posts created through our automation workflows.
This section is included for transparency with platform developer programs (including TikTok). It describes how we handle data in that internal context—not a service we offer to the public.
When we connect one of our social accounts (including TikTok):
- OAuth: Authorization uses each platform's OAuth flow. We do not store social platform passwords.
- Data accessed: Depending on approved scopes, platforms may provide basic profile information (such as display name or account identifier) and permission to upload or publish content we schedule.
- How we use it: Connection data is used only to operate our scheduling interface and to publish posts we create or approve for our channels.
- Storage: OAuth tokens and connection metadata are stored on our self-hosted infrastructure. We do not sell this data.
- Control: We can disconnect a linked channel at any time in the application settings, which stops further API access for that account.
- Third-party policies: Connected platforms handle data on their side under their own policies—for example TikTok's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Website visitors are not asked to sign in to Klytron Broadcaster or authorize social accounts through klytron.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
